Did anyone notice how great the hedges look now? What next you ask. Hmmm...what would you like to see done next? What about giving all the oaks a nice trim and shaping up? They've never been done from what I see. I believe it would give our community a little more added attraction and add value. And, wouldn't it be nice to turn the corner and see our trees neatly trimmed up and look like someone is actually caring for them? We've got a start on the beds and hedges, it only follows that we give the trees a trim. I'm not talking about gum drop shaped or animal shapes either. I think you know what I mean.

There are limbs almost touching wires and there are some that are gangly looking.

I've got one bid proposal  already but I don't think the board is ready to give this a second look. Why? Money, number one. Do we have the money for this? Priorities. I submitted a priority list of things to the president, Danny Crawford, but haven't heard a word back and he asked for this. Remains to be seen what happens next. Speak up at our next meeting April 7th and say what you think we need to be doing with our dues. It's your money too.

I'd love to see the Oaks trimmed but moreover I'd like for the Pines to be removed. Pines are messy and cheaper looking. The placement of the Oaks and Pines in that close proximity just does not make sense. Neither can flourish. They look unhealthy. Maybe we can get bids to have a company dig out the Pines and sell them to make $$$. Just a thought....

Bucman, would you mind coming to the April 7th, meeting and voice your opinion to the board? As some already know, boards are reluctant to spend any money to do anything, even if it's for a good cause. It's high time Bella Vista gets things looking like they used when the subdivision was new. There's just no reason for not doing so. Thanks for expressing your opinion on this. Danny's got a start on the landscaping, now, if he can just follow through with it to completion.
