We'll be talking about new entranceway landscape designs. I think there might be a couple. Also, wether to hire a new landscaper or not. Boys of Summer lawn care has been working very hard to get our business. Marie wants to put rose bushes at each end of our entranceways and in front of our signs. What do you think? She says she has other properties that she does this for and that they look great and she takes great care of them. I'd like to see one reference before making any vote myself though. At least roses would be better than what is there now.

A pond update will be discussed. This pond repair thing has been hanging around a few months now but ole mother nature has kept us from getting it done. Although our President Danny Crawford said at the last meeting that they could do the work in a pouring down rain. The stakes have been put in place weeks ago but the work still has not started. When will it begin? Time will only tell. I'll sure be glad when this is behind us. But, then again we have to worry about certain residents wanting to dig and plow and make a garden back there again and messing up the design. We'll have to be on constant alert now.

If you can't make the meeting maybe we'll send you a very informative newsletter or something or I'll post some info here. I try to keep you informed about everything but time has a way of getting away from you doesn't it.

I hate it when this happens. I'm about done with a post and my fingers hit a key and you get double posts. And, there is no way to delete any post once it's made. Sorry about that.

Keep up the GOOD work Paul. I do wonder what the roses will look like after a hard freeze. Will they be able to handle it?? Will it kill them and need replacement every year??

I can tell you that a little tea rose that I bought in a one gallon container at Home Depot over a year ago survived the freeze in my backyard this past year. It really did surprisingly well and has grown larger and still blooms today. We'll have to see how well the landscaper takes care of things, if they are hired. Will find out at the meeting this Thursday. Danny, our president and landscape liason will provide comments on our current landscaper. I've heard good and bad about them. But, isn't that with anyone these days? Hey, come to the meeting, would like to meet you in person.
