I suppose everyone was just too busy to have their trees trimmed by the road again this year. I hate to be a nag about this but it's just not fair that I have to pick up or sweep up your tree leaves and limbs that get torn off from the big trucks like the garbage trucks. I know you meaning to get to it this year but couldn't find the time, right? And to pay a tree service to do it, well, yeah, I understand that's having to dig deep into your pocket and we have to have the latest gadget or whatever too. It seems our priorities are screwed up as usual.
I think I am going to make 2014 the year that I try to find a county commissioner that will address this oak tree law. Where you have to have them or get fined for cutting one down without a permit. Over the years the developers thought it nice and easy for them, not to mention economical, the plant all these little oaks in every yard where a house was being built. Three to a yard I think the rule was. Never mind that a lot of us are just plain allergic to oak pollen.
Common sense out the window again. It's time to make things right!
