EL DORADO NATURE CENTER FEATURES NATIVE PLANTS FOR SALE!
Rare and unusual California and Southwest native plants are available for sale from the El Dorado Nature Center. In cooperation with Partners of Parks, the sale begins on Saturday, November 13, at 9:00am and will continue daily until all plants are sold! All proceeds support habitat restoration at the Nature Center, located at 7550 E Spring Street. Be sure to arrive early for the best selection.
Plants available include California buckwheat, island snapdragon, California mountain lilac, Baja fairy duster, Toyon and many more. The plant species available are suited to Southern California's dry climate, and require minimal watering once established. Many have fragrant foliage and vivid flowers that attract native butterflies and birds.
