CommunityDevelopment Working in Belmont Community

The Community Development Corporation is working with residents in strategic planning for building affordable housing for as many residents as they can. They are also assisting the community organization with programs for Urgent Repairs. They have also contacted other souces for helping the residents to get repair work done.

Belmont Neighborhood Strategy Force

The community organization is working with The Enterprise Community to help Train and find jobs for residents in the community.

Fighting Back

Mecklenburg County Health Department is working with the community residents. They are also working with the US Attorney with Gun Violence. The Project Safe Neighborhood (PSN)is directed at the Parkwood Corridor for the two communities, Belmont and Villa Heights.
