Welcome!

Back of the Yards is an historic south side Chicago neighborhood. The setting for writers like Upton Sinclair and Nelson Algren writing about the stockyards and the meat-packing industry here at the turn of the century, the neighborhood saw the Industrial Revolution first hand. Now, its a mix of both new and old homes, with great parks and easy access to the Dan Ryan Expressway. Mexican, Chinese, and great Chicago Pizza are on the menu in our many restaurants. Come visit!
