I had a call from a good friend in TN this afternoon.  She was concerned because the Christmas Card she sent me was returned to her today 3/11/24 with the yellow sticker do not forward / do not deliver.   Same sticker that was on two cards that arrived last week that were post marked 12/14/24 that I was unaware were missing at my house.

She said I had the correct address on it. You have not moved have you?  I said no. I explained that I was aware that her card was 1 of 6 missing from my mail hold in Dec. 2024.    

I said I was told by the carrier last week that a lot of mail got put through the wrong machine and ended up with these yellow stickers.  That carrier told me she decided to deliver that two cards she delivered early last week anyway.    

The Postal mail sucks. One would think that if they knew they ran all this mail through the wrong machine they would of made some effort to get it delivered and not send it back to the sender.    This explains where 1 of the 6 cards ended up.

Will be interesting to see if the other 5 turn up.

The Minute Station worker told me on the phone on the Sunday MLK weekend that the mail was stolen.  She just did not know if it was stolen at their location or where it was scanned for the informed delivery.
