On October 8th Big Bear Farms will hold their annual Hayride and Bonfire to support the United Mitochondrial Disease Foundation and Ellie Kovalcik. Recently we have all seen the news and suffering of those who live along our gulf coast. Many of us have supported those people with donations and prayers. We also have an obligation to support or friends and neighbors. They are our community. I hope everyone who can attend this benefit will do so. It is a great time and fun for everyone.
While the Party is great, so is Ellie. If you ever had the chance to meet her you would understand what I am saying. She is a beautiful child with special needs. Matt, Kris and their family are members of our community. We should all want to help them with the challenges they face every day.
