I would like to compliment whomever is involved in keeping our landscaping for the common grounds looking so beautiful.The last couple of years the lanscaping has improved dramaticlly. The entrances and the fountains look great. The Landscaping company is doing a very professional job and the Trustees are doing a wonderful job !

To BBF Common Grounds

I agree. The green areas never looked better than they do this year. The loop is beautiful. Honestly, I am not fond of the mish mosh of plant colors on Powell Road though. Would not have been my choice of mixed colors. The other entrances seem nicer than that one. My favorite is Sawmill Road.

I do question though the trees that were replaced this year. It did not look like some of the trees that were removed had problems. I still see ones that are obviously worse than the removed ones that looked like they had no problem. Were they moved somewhere else? Just curious as to what was up with that.

I agree on your statement about our three trustees - great job!

Not Great

I thought it could be better. Look at other community next to us -- lots of Evergreen trees planted in a well design fashion.

Our community entrances looks terrible during Winter time. For some reason, they were all planted with low height Annuals and Perennials flowers ?! Give me some Tall plants!

RE: common grounds

I got some info second hand ,but I understand that some of the trees removed, were dying or diseased. They are supposed to plant some more in the spring. I agree about the flowers, but hey, if we could get some people in the neighborhood with a green thumb, I'm sure the Trustees would be willing to let them have a go at it.
