Some of our newly planted trees need a little TLC?—and a lot of H 2 O?—especially the two on Third Street, facing the Horace Mann Elementary School playground. So, please, join the ranks of our neighborhood ''bucket brigade.'' Toss a gallon container of water (or two or three . . .) in the trunk of your car. As you pass by one of these struggling saplings, pull over to the curb and give it a drink. If we do not keep these 139 trees alive, we may not be chosen for the next neighborhood grant. And that means missing the chance to beautify our area with another 339 trees.
