I heard from Leah Peppers (right-hand woman to concilwoman Ellen Call) that they've approved a $350,000 renovation to Farnsley Park. Unfortunately, the language used on the basketball court there has resulted in the decision to not put up new goals. I think it's unfortunate that, in a place obsessed with basketball like Kentucky, there will be no new goals...but it's also sad that our two choices appear to be 'foul language' or 'basketball'.
On the up-side, I'm looking forward to some nicer tennis courts.
