There are leash laws. I am a transplant from up north and can tell you that we had the same type of thing up there. Also I can tell you and as you know from previous threads I have a problem with dogs barking all night w/o owner intervention and I really really am not hearing what our other poster is hearing. You do bere intermittent barking if someone is walking thier dog but not enough to keep you up all night. I don't want to silence all dogs during hours where working people normally walk dogs and in short spurts.. I have one myself and they can alert you to intruders and such. That being said responsible owners don't allow dogs to bark excessively day or night and at this mOment I don't hear anything that keeps me up. I also do not want to go to extremes and tell folks to keep dogs totally quiet all the time. Staying up all night versus all night or all day barking are very different. That being said I love my dog very much and she is always with us. She does not bark all day or night and I think everyone should do the same . Dog walking with her has gotten easier with the Loose dogs too. But I have to say every now and then you do come across an escapee !!! I have even gone outside to try and hear what our other poster is hearing to help him/her and there is nothing. I Pwish I could help but I'm not going to say something I'm not picking up on either. Maybe that'll change but right now I can't. I feel bad that he's frustrated since we both had the same problem but I'm not hearing it anymore.

I live near the 15th tee and we are also bothered by barking that occurs all night. However, I want to make it clear that it is not our dog who is part lab. He has spent every night in the garage since October and is does not bark at night. We only recently started letting him out again with the warm weather and I've made sure he hasn't barked at night. If you find out who it is please let me know. |

If you live near the 15th tee then you must surely know the dog I am talking about. It is a brown short-haired medium size dog. Not sure on the bread, maybe a rotwiler mix. Do you know the owners? Have you said anything to them? Are there any rules in your HOA laws about barking dogs? When is the next HOA meeting for Bonnie Brae? I would like to attend and complain about this on-going occurance. Thanks. |

Unfortunately, I really don't know where the barking is coming from. There are so many dogs up and down the 15th hole its difficult to narrow down which home it could be. I can think of 8-10 homes from the tee to the pin that all have dogs and are up against the course. The description you made doesn't really narrow it down. my immediate neighbors both keep their dogs inside at night and I don't really know the other neighbors that well. I might be able to do something if I was sure what house it is. I'll need more details to narrow it down though. |
