Brainerd boast two parks: Brainerd Park and Robichaux Park both which have league sports and programs for tots to seniors and has a proud Irish-American heritage. The area is named for one of the founders of the Rock Island Line which runs through the neighborhood. Most of the homes are detached single-family dwellings, and the prices make this a very attractive south side place to live.
