Tri-Town Water Restrictions

Braintree, Holbrook and Randolph

All water customers of the towns of Braintree, Holbrook and Randolph be hereby notified by the Tri-Town Board of Water Commissioners, that “PHASE ONE” of the Water Use Policy, is in effect as described below:

PHASE ONE:

The use of automatic watering devices and soaker hoses is prohibited. Only the use of hand held hoses with shutoffs shall be allowed. No organized car washes shall be allowed from June 1 to September of any year. The filling of in-ground or above-ground swimming pools from the municipal water supply shall be prohibited after june 1 of any year. This phase is also in effect at times when further restrictions are required.

Violation of the Tri-Town Water Use Policy carries a penalty of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) for each offense. Each day constitutes a separate offense.

The 2002 Water Quality Report "Consumer Confidence Report" (CCR) has been mailed to all residents and mail recipients of Braintree. Additional copies are available in our office, which is located at 2 JFK Memorial Drive, Braintree, MA. Office hours are 8:30 am - 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday or it can be accessed through our web site.
