a true story
one day i return home from work and a
thief has just finished robbing me of everything i own.i live next door to the police & fire stations and town hall
is across the street.i figure that this thief has brass like no other and i decide to reward him for the effort by
not prosecuting him.you see he has even left his name,address and a phone number
where he can be reached because he knows
i respect the effort he has made.he even
phones me later to inform me the toaster he stole gave him a shock and the blender no longer blends and he would like to return these items.
i realize that crime exists in other towns and god forbid i go against the flow and stand up for myself and family.
god knows i worked hard to pay for those things the thief stole,but...
i might as well let him keep them and
work O/T at the mill to buy new ones to keep the economy going.that seems fair
to you,too doesn't it?
