Braintree's elected officials are at it again. In an attempt to get their names in the headlines, two of Braintree's elected officials have claimed Braintree solely responsible for the horrific events at the shipyard. These two reckless individuals claim Braintree is fully liable (likely to cost the town millions) without any attempt at an investigation to get all the facts. Even the Quincy official refused to speculate prior to an investigation.
Nice move Kokoros and Ford. In your rush to get your name in the paper, you have subjected the very town you are supposed to protect to a very large and damaging liability.
We can't recall those two idiots fast enough!

Recall everyone
Start with the entire School Committee - they grant raises which they cannot pay and will be DESTROYED at Town Meeting when they cut the single line budget by $600,000. Query - where will that money come from?.
Then the entire Board of Selectmen. They free ''hurt'' since the School Committee jumped the gun on raises so they, using public safety as the reason, push to up the Fire and Police budgets.
Now Koko the clown spouts off again and puts his foot,a nd the Town,in it. He cannot be recalled soon enough.
All our ''leaders'' fail to recognize we have no money. Eric Kinsherf is the only one who has a realistic view.
If the ''do gooders'' want to give it all away, then they shoudl develop a plan to increase taxes to fund their pet projects.
Time to put up the for sale sign.

Don't forget the FinCom
They play an important role in the recent budget developments. They haven't supported the Finance Director's position by sending a message that was loud and clear to the departments. The result? Anarchy.
If the school budget is reduced, it won't affect the teachers pockets at all, instead it'll affect our kids education.
With all of this ''outrage'' the incumbents are running unopposed. Do you really think that people will other with a recall?

Can you read TMM
Ted Langill, Chairman of the Finance Committee has been preaching for months the need for fiscal responsibility and ihas publically stated that the School Committee and Selectman have not acted in the best interest of the Town. There are other FinCom members who have stated this in open meetings as well.FinCom has not even held heaings on the budgets yet so don't paint all with such a broad brush.
