Does anyone know why the town allows people on Wildwood Ave to park on the side walks? I had to push my carriage along with my 6 year old and go out into the street into oncoming traffic. Is there someone to call?

Wildwood and Highlands School
Yes, you can call the police dept and tell them. They should send a cruiser up to ticket. Unless you are talking about the time when school is dismissed. Then I don't know what the solution is. I live in the neighborhood, and I have no idea why Grandma and Grampa start arriving for afternoon pickup around 1:30, when school lets out at 2:50!
I just hope that there is never an emergency requiring passage down or up Wildwood between 2:45 and 3:00, when it becomes a one way street!

They suck and they don't live on that street! That's why.

call the police dept.
You will probably find that most or all of those people have driveways. As for the persons parking at the school to pick up children... Let us not blame it all on grampa or gramma.. most are young parents and, I have no problem with it.. Just drive slowly past the school. Also I do notice that they have the good sense to park on one side.
And for those who park on sidewalks consider that there are blind people in this town. Especially one who walks on Washington Street in the Highlands. There is a person who continually parks on the sidewalk there.
