Do You THink
Quirk waited for the truck ban ruleing to come down before he moved forward with the shipyard work? Of course he did. Now if he has to use Hayward and Elm streets, he can. The powers that be have ruled in his favor. The roads in that part of town will get worse and worse. AND SO IT GOES.

Quirk could
Screw up a one car funeral. According to news bulletins, Quirk went boom but the structures didn't budge.
Nice try Danny. And to think of all the money you wasted greasing palms and buying off politicians. You should have put that money into the demolition fund.

Boom Dud??
Off went the charges, down came some girders, but others precariously remained partially standing. The third girder shell was postponed because our useless Planning Board refused to consent to the ''Braintree'' shell from falling until the ''trucking route'' the state already said ''hands the frigg off'' is satisfactory to these bumbles! More dynamite is needed, but today's gala boom boom went as a dud dud! Politicians can screw up a one car funeral! How about the car that went down over the hill into the river behind the Elm Street apartments? Woe, the fire department's rescue truck was busy today! In fact, every truck, police and ambulance they could muster responded to Elm Street. That was soon after the Shipyard Boom Dud! Ah, only in Braintree!!

get it right
1. The Planning Board gave the approval for the dry dock filling on Tues. - as scheduled.
2. The Planning Board got the information on the demoltion of the superstructure at the last minute - Tues. night - after several months of hearings. Why wasn't the information brought forward earlier?
3. State Law mandates a 20 day appeal process with a special permit vote. No one held up the demolition. How can you vote on something before its' before you?
4. Testa Corp the ''experts'' made the mistake today, it had nothing to do with the Planning Board or any other politician.
5. The State ruling on the truck route has nothing to do with this project. Special Permits allow for mitigation - that's why it's a''Special Permit'' and not a use by right.
So - Nero - perhaps you should keep to playing your fiddle and watching Braintree burn.
