Mayor Menino plans a victory parade for the sox after game 7...to be held on Election Day. Talk about weird. What is he THINKIN??

You're Right,

I heard him on WEEI the other day and I couldn't believe he plans to have a parade on Election Day. We all hope the SOX bring it home, but how could you ask people to vote while a million people are celebrating in Boston. I don't understand the thinking behind this decision. If the SOX win why wouldn't you have the celebration on Wednesday or Thursday. IF WE'VE WAITED 86 YEARS TO WIN A WORLD SERIES, WHAT'S ONE MORE DAY? File this under dumb.
