who receives a step-raise or an increase in their yearly longevity payments if they do, or do not, consider that an appropriate percentage of increase in salary in any one year?
I would ask them to look around them and see what other trades are presently receiving a yearly increase of 3% or more; other than Braintree's personnel. I believe the citizens of this town owe you all a fair and equitable salary for the duties you perform, I'm just wondering if we have to give you 6% increases every year to make those wages competitive. If as an employee you are also a resident of this town, please take an honest look at this picture. Our infrastructure is falling apart and I believe one reason for its demise is that too large a portion of our tax dollars is allocated for salaries and benefits. Anyone agree or disagree?
