Town of Braintree

now we can rate them

watching the new crop of people the town has doing snow removal was a pleasent suprize. now they are all numbered with a big sign on the side of their door. now i can finaly figure out who the twitt is who could take lessons about moving snow. or give praise to the one who does it correctly.now dont get me wrong but are the plows supposed to stay only in the center of the road and not go near the curb.i have just shoveled from my side walk to the end of the snow berm and its about 8 feet away. yes i know it was stoopid to do that with my luck on tuesday the plow will be back and push the snow to its proper place.but im a glutton for punishment anyhow.

buy your own

plow and have at it.push the snow into the middle and watch and see if they do a good job of removing it.the snow will not last very long so have fun while it is here.
How to Plow

1. Open main roads gutter to gutter
2. Make single pass down center of all secondary roads in your route just to open them up.
3. Go back over all secondaries and open them up gutter to gutter and clean up intersections.
4. Depending on storms, most times plows are pulled back out of secondaries before they are finished to reopen main roads.
5. Go back to secondaries and either continue or start over (depending on how much snow has fallen)

This is repeated as many times as needed until either the storm ends or driver needs to sleep.

The quality of the plowing depends on how good the driver is, obviously.
