A question for parents:
what of NO in NO PARKING don't parents
not understand when they park in front
of the school?
Since they are not going to enforce
the parking rules at school then they
should also not enforce it anywhere in the town of Braintree. (Washington St?)

what is NO ? in this society of liberals and whiners it is an unused word.it goes along with having a problem you cant say that any more you have to call em issues. nothing is defined by simple logic now.its all about the I should have it my way group. you know the ones my kid has some kind of disorder so he cant do that your way give him an alternative. Everybody has a reason to flaunt the rules. but the biggest problem is the people who are supposed to enforce the rules thay cant bother with it it might disturbe doughnut time or they might have to put down a cell phone and work

What exactly is your point?
Why are you targeting the schools? And what particular school are you refering to? Do you think the schools are the only place people park where they are not supposed to? Go to Shaws or Stop and Shop and see all the cars parked in front of the post office or CVS as someone runs in for a minute to buy stamps, mail a package, pick up a RX - and they are in fire lanes!!!! So, if you must complain about parking violations, don't discriminate - target everyone, in the town that has these problems.

Because I got nailed for parking in an
area with no signage that says no
parking while down the street signs
say no parking but people never get nailed. That in my book is selective enforcement and unfair.

You do know Shaws & Stop & Shop are private property, the town has
no jurisdiciton?
So if they aren't going to enforce
parking at the schools (where it says
No parking) then the parking rules
should be enforced nowhere in the town.
Also maybe the parents who park at the
schools should have their high school
diplomas revoked....after all they
can't read.
Also maybe the parents who park at the
schools should hire a cop to direct traffic since they're succeeding in
creating accidents.
Maybe there should be signs posted to the effect that all who park there (at the school) automatically assume
fault for any accidents that occur.
