Read the document

When I read the document that Egan sent out I thought that it included language that placed this responsiblity on to the Town Manager. That would have addressed Mr. Power's need to have another committee assigned by Town Meeting to take care of an administrative task that belongs in the administrative function of the Town versus the Legislative branch.

Did you notice that there was only one comment made to a specific duty presented in Egan's proposal and that the answer was that it was included in the proposal if the person would have read it first?

I think the real reason why the proposal failed was because TMM's didn't take the time to read the proposal and understand it. That's not Egan's fault, it's ours.

You missed the point. There never should have been a need for a motion like Joe's if the BOS/ES/DPW Director were doing their job. Town Meeting was silent on that, I guess.

The only reason that I voted for it so Powers wouldn't get upset. You know how he sulks when people don't vote with him.
