Thanks
for the ''heads-up''. We have a mobile phone that we carry in the car and is only used for emergency calls. Every call in or out is charged. the service is very inexpensive but only if the phone is not used continually. Would hate to have someone run up our bill with unwanted calls..
Thanks for the reminder.

I was leery of this .
Seeing so many online frauds I was leery , however this is excellent advice. Thanks
Its a 4 step process takes 1 minute
1. give phone number for exclusion and email
2. confirm email ...
3. click on link they send to email
4. enjoy a less interrupted day!
Here is the confirmation I received:
REGISTRATION COMPLETE
You have registered the following telephone number in the National Do Not Call Registry:
(781) yournumberhere
This registration will be effective until 12/12/2009.
Please print a copy of this page for your records.

One more question....
Once this goes into operation, I am wondering if the same exclusions also apply to the cell phones ?
For example, can non-profit telemarketers call you ?
Can a business that you did business with in the past 12 months call you ?
Can politicians call you ?
If cell phone companies gave out free cell service for having to put up with telemarketers and advertisements, I might consider the free cell service.
Just like they do with free email accounts and free websites. Just have to put up with coop advertising.
