Who's Stupid?

Dumb Democrats In Modern Times

You know, you really have to love a party that in 2000 wanted to throw out the Electoral College because their guy had more popular votes and then today challenges the votes in Ohio because those votes would not only result in President Bush winning the popular vote but the EC as well. Congrats go out to Representative John Conyers (D-MI) and Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA) for never failing to find the biggest piece of crap of the day but stepping in it, wallowing in it and rolling around in it like a stupid mutt until we can all say ''Man, you and your bitch stink!''.

But that's not the high point of dumb Democrats in Modern Times. No today we have the Senatorial approval of the first Hispanic ever nominated for Attorney General of the United States. Well here we have Ted *HICCUP* Kennedy, or ''The Swimmer'' whichever you prefer, telling us that it's wrong to coerce militant Islamic prisoners into telling us what they may know and wanting them to be subject to due process afforded to American citizens. Of course The Swimmer isn't alone.

He has his Dumbocrat co-horts chiding him along. We have good old Chuckie Shumer (D-NY), who never met an abridgement of the second amendment he didn't like, Jim ''Leaky'' Leahy (D-VT) and the other Dumbocrat usual suspects singing in the chorus.

These whining crybabies have no idea what they're doing. They want to make political hay out of anything GW wants, anything. If it means making things easier for the enemy, so be it. I mean who cares if these suspects aren't soldiers in any nations army, who cares if they wear no uniforms, who cares if they behead Americans, supported killing 3,000 people on 9/11, who cares if they make IED's that kill and maim U.S. men and women in Iraq, who cares!!!! Let's show them we're sensitive.

Forget the fact that these are the same people, that our incredibly stupid and treasonous Senators are backing, that would love to see a plane, truck or belt wearing suicide bomber clean out their ranks. Forget these people want to see the death of America and may know of future or current operations, let's be nice, let's not do things to them that might make them hate us more Rolling Eyes. As if not wanting to kill every Senator and replacing them with an Islamic mullah shouldn't be enough fear for these morons.

What does it take to wake up the Dumbocrats? Do they not know what we face? I guess not, that stain of a political party also had 58 million self-proclaimed intelligent voters backing them.

It's times like this I thank God that the Republicans are in the majority and leading this effort. I can just picture President elect Kerry telling would be Secretary of State Joe Biden to begin peace negotiations with Osama bin Laden. Only problem is, which cave do we go to? I mean he doesn't even have a country of a shaq-fuing capital for us to visit, no means of throwing a state dinner, hell can you imagine us negotiating with Pancho Villa who was more or less in the same category?

The best part is if this is before inauguration the lunacy we're going to see before the 2006 mid-terms is sure to enlarge our majority. Be proud of your Senators, they're leading you into disaster and don't even realize it yet. Much like the city council of Pompeii being ignorant of their fate in the last days the Democratic party is going to be buried in the ash heap of history.

Be proud though, you voted.

Bushwon bymore than 118,000 vote

Charles Schumer fresh in a new leadership role among Democrats, found himself at odds with some of them Thursday, including Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, over a ceremonial counting of President Bush's re-election victory.

Schumer, D-N.Y., was tapped late last year to head the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee and began the day touting the DSCC's lack of debt heading into the 2006 elections.

''My view is that you don't hold up the election unless there is concrete real evidence of fraud. I haven't seen that,'' Schumer said Thursday.

The achievement was largely overshadowed by an objection to Ohio's electoral vote tallies by Rep. Stephanie Tubbs Jones, D-Ohio, joined by Sen. Barbara Boxer, D-Calif.

In contrast, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, D-N.Y., took to the Senate floor to thank Boxer for her move, saying the government needs to set higher standards for voting accuracy.

Some Democrats have complained that voting problems in Ohio, where Bush won by more than 118,000 votes, deserve closer scrutiny.
Others in the party believe the objections may anger voters and make Democrats look like sore losers.

''As we look at our election system, I think it's fair to say that there are many legitimate questions about its accuracy, about it's integrity, and they are not confined to the state of Ohio,'' said Clinton, considered an early Democratic frontrunner for the 2008 presidential race.

Clinton has previously called for electronic voting machines to provide written receipts for voters. Clinton spoke with Boxer on the Senate floor and they agreed to re-offer the legislation together later this month.?–Boxer must be Clinton?’s shill, she has a perfect track record for being wrong and alone on a senate vote!

She spoke during a debate required under law once a member of the House and Senate formally protest the ceremonial counting. Lawmakers are allowed to speak for no more than five minutes.
After the debate, the Senate voted 74-1 to uphold the election results, with Boxer the lone dissent. The House followed suit, 267-31.

''Chuckie certainly thinks that the problems our nation has in voting are worth two hours of the Senate's attention, but he doesn't believe we should stop the certification of the election for that purpose, and every senator except Senator Boxer agreed with him,'' said Schumer spokesman Stu Loeser.

In the House, three New York City Democrats, Reps. Anthony Weiner, Jose Serrano, and Major Owens, had supported the initial Ohio objection. Of those three, only Owens still voted against the election results after the debate, as did Rep. Maurice Hinchey, who represents the Hudson Valley.

Upstate Republican Thomas Reynolds, R-Clarence, ripped Democrats for making a stink in the quadrennial electoral ritual.
It marked only the second time since 1877 that the House and Senate were forced into separate meetings to consider electoral votes.

The counting ceremony gained greater attention after filmmaker Michael Moore's ''Fahrenheit 9/11'' opened with a similar protest in Congress after the 2000 election.
The protest by House members died that year after no senator joined the effort
