The girls of good government are at it again. In an effort to not look too partisan in their support of Joe Driscoll, the vultures have finally scheduled a candidate debate. (Read Driscoll's contributors list - it reads like the LWV Roster. Prominent among donors is Sandra Kuntz - dictator, I mean leader of the Girls).

If you recall, the girls of good government held a ''debate'' on the charter question, only they didn't invite the opposition.

Now, they have scheduled ONE debate between Driscoll and Koko. When is the debate you ask?

Wednesday, October 20th - or GAME 7 BETWEEN THE SOX AND YANKEES.

Hmm, if I didn't know better, I'd swear the League doesn't want anyone to tune in. This way, they get credit for hosting their usual debate, but they protect their man Driscoll by ensuring that NOBODY will watch.

You've outdone yourselves this time girls!

I thought Sandra was going to move out of town if the Charter failed to pass last year. That was one of the reasons that I voted against it.

I'll put money down that Koko won't show. He doesn't want to be rep., he wants to be mayor. This is his way to raise some cash, sit on it and use it if/when we go for a mayor.
