Can someone tell me how

Here is how it can be done.

A president's economic policies including tax policies, approach to regulations, spending priorities, and foreign trade policies, has a significant impact on the economy and job creation.

Two examples:

1. A targeted tax reduction that reduces a company's social security payment would result in a lower cost of labor for business and would be an incentive to maintain or increase employment. A non-targeted tax cut that reduced taxes primarily on the wealthy may result in more saving and investment, or more consumption but may not result in increased employment depending on how the funds were disposed by the individuals.

2. An goverment investment in infrastructure such as took place in the 90s with the Internet can result in job growth. This is also a good example of how an administration?’s regulatory focus can result in job creation. The internet was created by the American government for defense and research. The infrastructure was strengthened over time until it became a commercially viable tool. When the internet was then turned over to private enterprise it resulted in the creation of millions of jobs.

An additional idea

I just might get flamed for this idea but to the extent that jobs are being outsourced we here in the US are losing ours causing losses in tax receipts and tax receipts within the social security.

To this end, I believe that to replace these tax receipts our country, the IRS should be enabled to assess a tax upon the value of outsourced labor that companies employ. By whatever mechanism that can be implemented by our brain trusts who run the IRS, it should be invented and implemented.

I say and believe this on philosophical grounds. To the extent that we as a country have no problem taxing our own national labor force we should be more that readily willing to assess a payaroll tax upon foreign / offshore labor.

Like I said, I personally do not know how to invent such a tax reporting mechanism, but I'd bet that there are many tax and policy professionals who can.

Maybe tax the products and services produced by such companies, I don't really have a taxing mechanism at the ready.

But I do really believe that foreign labor should be taxed as readily as we tax our own labor force.

Can Sombody Tell Me How Kerry

Got to run for the liberals? He doesn't
know the time of day!
What a mistake they made, they coulda had Dean!
Dean may be a little wacky but this guy is like a lumpfish, he has the personality of a boiled
potato !

Neither one of the two impressed me as possessors of great wisdom or blinding intellects but
if they did they wouldn?’t be in politicks!

DNC ELECTION MANUAL

DNC ELECTION MANUAL: CHARGE VOTER INTIMIDATION, EVEN IF NONE EXISTS

The Kerry/Edwards campaign and the Democratic National Committee are advising election operatives to declare voter intimidation -- even if none exists!

A 66-page mobilization plan to be issued by the Kerry/Edwards campaign and the Democratic National Committee states: ''If no signs of intimidation techniques have emerged yet, launch a 'pre-emptive strike.'''

The provocative Dem battle plan is to be distributed in dozens of states!

One top DNC official confirmed the manual's authenticity, but claimed the notion of crying wolf on any voter intimidation is ''absurd.''

''We all know the Republicans are going to try to steal the election by scaring people and confusing people,'' the top DNC source explained.
