Do You Want to Increase Taxes?
Simple math would suggest that taxes would need to be raised to operate an indoor pool for operating costs for a twelve month indoor facility would be much higher than a twelve week pool. Fulltime lifeguards, a pool manager certified by the state, a pool custodian and part time staff and utility costs to boot. A summer outdoor pool would be part time staff at much less cost and no benefits long term. Let's get it built.
