You Need to Report It
I strongly suggest that if you get a ''what do you think we should do'' response from a police dispatcher that you ask to speak with the shift commander. If the shift commander doesn't do anything, than you ask to speak with a deputy chief or the chief of police. FYI - their numbers are 781-794-8603 (shift commander), 781-794-8629 (Deputy Jenkins), 781-794-8654 (Deputy McHugh), 781-794-8651 (Chief Frazier). All calls to police dispatchers are recorded. So, if you get a negative response, report your complaint to one of the above. The tapes speak for themselves. Police dispatchers have been disciplined for such negative responses to the public. If you work your way up the chain and don't get the response you want, call 781-794-8110 and report it to the Board of Selectmen. However, I'm confident it will be dealt with before you reach that level. Instead of complaining here, you should make the supervisors aware of it, because if you don't, they may never find out about it and the behavior will continue.-By COP
