Town of Braintree

reality is simple if you try

Posted in: Braintree
1.the schools need repairs.make them
town will fund it and when applicable
state and or federal will cover their end.
2.the teachers will get no raise.period
3.the state will pay their end of the Quinn bill shortage because the governor stopped payment.the town should not be held financially responsible for the governor short changing us or they should give us a tax break to cover the difference.don't worry they're creative
anyone that can justify a pension to someone like billy bulger shouldn't be balancing their books at our expense.
just what did our state rep say about that at one of their many meetings?that he would give us money to beautify
Washington street with 100 year old replica street lamps and a retaining wall at church and elm streets?woohoo!
3.consider eliminating the Quinn bill if they're going to renege on their end
adding to the taxpayers burden.
4.forget adding cops and fire. it's a ploy by misters Frasier and Kenny 's
attempt to trump the school departments
raises and added monies.i don't blame them but two wrongs never make a right.
5. the population in town has changed by approximately 2500 residents in 30+
years and we need the present amount of police/fire/teachers? why is that?
6. keep the maintenance funds for fire and police.
7.eliminate town vehicles as perks to employees.don't worry, they're manage.
8. demand all employees of the town be
competent or furlough them until they are accredited
9.as a requirement of town employment
make all employees sign a non conflict of interest clause and do not allow blood relatives be directly under their charge or in their department

these are suggestions.
