Was it or wasn't it televised. And if not, why not?

I saw it..

While flipping through the channels.. I saw a scene of town meeting at East Jr. High.. I turned it off and was looking for something more interesting.. I was once a town meeting member.. but was sick of sifting through the lies.. I knew better in many instances.. and decided to quit. added years to my life.
