I am in total agreement with everything you have said. I would also want to ad that those two officers might of been dealing with a person on steroids.Such persons are
always in a state of agitation and needless to say are very powerful. For the most part there is no talking sense
with them, They need to be weened from that drug and thankfully the judge in the arrainment saw fit for the suspect to spend thirty days in Bridgewater.

That Brian Hickman had the presence of mind to resolve this situation without shooting the guy is a mark of professionalism and extraordinary restraint.
I don't know Brian personally but, I do know that many of the young people in this community respect him and that tells me a lot.
Kudos to Brian and his fellow officer.

I was one of those fortunate ''yoots'' who was able to go to the police camp when Brian Hickman was there. I never remember him bragging about all the work he did. I thought he was very professional and now I want to be a policeman just like him.

I didn't realize Hickman was the one who solved my case. I always thought he just sat around and ate donuts. Wish I knew now what I didn't know then!
