Support Your Troops Ribbon

Posted in: Braintree
Today I read a story in the Quincy Ledger about the yellow magnet ribbons adorning the rear of our cars. It seems that Taiwan is making ''knockoffs'' of a product that was originally created to raise money to support our troops. Money to be used so that servicemen in Iraq could contact their families here in the states..
It seems the knockoffs bear the information that they are made in Taiwan. I immediately went out to my car to see what was written on mine.. It said Made in the USA. (I bought it at Shaw's market) If it had said Made in Taiwan I would have returned it immediately.. Perhaps everyone should check their magnetic yellow ribbon.
Same problem as ''LIVE STRONG''

I saw something on Fox 25 ? That if it's not yellow and sold in USA then the proceeds do not go towards cancer

Seems as if there is a good cause the marketeers are there rape the proceeds

Made in USA

Bear in mind made in USA doesn't necessarily mean made in the USA.

In a case like this maybe the ribbon
itself is made overseas and the box
was made in the US or the item
was packed into a box here in the US.

Sadly made in the US doesn't mean it
was made ENTIRELY in the US.
