Similar thing happened to my family. I am in 89031 off ann/whitestone. We have surveillence cameras on our property as well. Guess they didnt deter the crime. A black male, approx. 6'2" , med build, age 30ish? wearing a hoodie and designer jeans came through our neiborhood and walked up to every parked vehicle and attempted to open the door. This was approx 2:00 am. One of our vehicles, not usually parked outside, was unlocked and he got in. Stayed in there about 7 minutes stealing change, some paperwork. He even popped the trunk. Then he closed it up and walked to the next vehicle. Called the police to make a report and had to come down to the station, brought the video. People: if you see/hear ANYTHING "weird" or unusual in you neighborhood, call the police! Unless you are sure of a life threatening emergency, 3-1-1 is the best option. I repeat 3-1-1. Let them know what is going on. The police may not catch him right away but this builds a case and once he gets caught all the calls / video will back it up in court! Look out for your neighbors!

Both mine and my husbands car got broken into 2 weeks ago. We live off of 8th ave. They stole 2 of our GPS's and a pair of Juicy Couture sunglasses as well as all of our change. We did file a police report.. Just hope someone saw something

Hello! I was a victim too! I can't even tell you how angry I am. Boyfriend and I are now armed. This guy broke into my car at 5AM, while my family was awake making coffee and neighbours were walking around Lake Gracie! One spotted him, black man dressed in all black, he ran from my street jumping fences towards Orange. He had a tough time smashing through my tint with his screwdriver. You could see where he felt up my car for a while trying to see what he could grab. He ended up taking my 10yr old iPod and melted/broken GPS. I called around all the pawn shops, they said they don't take those things. It makes me sick, that iPod had 4,000 songs on it. I am very aware now, and I run down stairs at the drop of a pin. The cops have been on surveillance I've noticed, they have told me there have been 30+ break ins since me! They also let me know he has even gone through people's backyards to get to their cars! God forbid he tries me again. I have two words for that situation, Castle Law.
