I went to a meeting last Wed. in regards to the constant helicopter noise.
Only my neighbor and I were there from the Los Cerritos area. All the rest were from the Redondo Bl. corridor ... Belmont Heights. I have asked Ron Reeves the man in charge of LB Airport noise ... good man .. to consider having a meeting for those of us in the Cal Heights - Los Cerritos neighborhoods. Let me know if any of you would be interested. There are also discussions about the F-18 exercises and all the other aircraft noises at late and very early hours. The more who come to these meetings the better. Helen Ansel from Alan Lowenthal's office was in attendance last week. I am in touch with her in regards to another meeting. I have asked her about the supposed post office that rumored to open in the old OSH building. As well as the barrage of spam phone calls we are getting all day everyday. Hope to meet many of you at the Oct. 21 Los Cerritos Neighborhood Assoc. meeting.
