We live at Maplebrook & Virburnum. A little over a year ago, our home was vandalized and we were a victim of a hate crime (columbus has special ordinance)

Recently, I found unopened cans of soup, ketchup, etc., which had been thrown at our home and over our lawn. These items have been seized for comparison prints,when a suspect(s) is identified. As in the first incident CPD notified.will increase surveillance
Sorry we don't fit into the Brookside Woods ideal image, but we cannot change what is.
Since my career in law enforcement specifically civil rights, hate crimes, violations, the police and I are in agreement where this maybe coming, from and sorry to say, it's right in the immediate area.I know during the first incident, I had many people stop and say, ''it never happens in Brookside and none of the children living within would do this,'' WEll it did, and yes, it was from children living in Brookside.
We just want to be left alone. The few neighbors that we do socialize with are and have been very supportive. Please, if anyone has any information regarding this criminal act(s),and continued harassment, I would appreciate the information, as we intend to fully pursue these matters, both criminally and civilly as well.
