What can we do about are ponds always being uneven? Shouldn't we have a landscape company mow these ponds so they look nice and even all the time? 

we do have a landscaping company take care of the ponds that the association is responsible for (see outline in the history section).  The rest of the ponds are the property of the homeowners that border the pond and as such they are responsible for the upkeep.  Talk to your neighbors about the look of their section of the ponds they might just need a reminder.
