OK, write it up and lets see what you might be think of. Do remember that there are tables and chairs for activities, and an small kitchen where lunches could be prepared. As you can see a handicapped ramp has been installed to the front door since it is wide enough for access. Unfortunately, its a house and the bathrooms still may require assistance for some. As I said before, we have concern over having a smooth surface for people to get around outside, such as sidewalks and driveway. But until KyDOT starts to really move dirt and laying out the roads ways and their sidewalks, it would be a risk for the city to proceed. Walser Road is going to be widened at the entrance, three lanes, one in and two out left and right. The right of away is rather close to the house and as I understand it, the road way is to be elevated some. So council or city really hasn't been promoting the house use until we have a safer environment so someone won't stumble or fall. As far as space is concerned in the house, there is actually one wall between the living room and diningroom that could possibly be altered, opening the space up some. There is no plan to do that yet until we "the council", use it as is and see how it fits. Can't use the basement for much except some storage. To use it, we would probably have in install another outside entrance to meet building code requirements I suspect. Anyway, come by sometime during any meeting and take a look. For most events I think it is comfortable and there is a coffee maker.
