For all those who want to know and maybe stop the ill-spirited chatter. They are a sub-contractor to LG&E, who sent a mailing to everyone several months ago that tree trimming was going to occur. Any of you people even ask the workers who they worked for...probably not.. just jumping to misguided conclusions. If they are asking to do other business on LG&E's time, call the utility and file your compliants with LG&E.  Did anyone call Officer Bob about the truck...probably not.

Nelson's-you are correct.

Rife's-you are not.

Nelson's was the (local) company that was sub-contracted by LG&E and they did very good work while in the neighborhood.  But Rife's and this new company have nothing to do with LG&E, and one neighbor has already witnessed shady business practices from Rife's.  A quick web search on the out-of-state company reveals many complaints of bad business practices as well as an "F" rating with the BBB.  This is by no means "ill-spirited chatter" neighbor, it is simply concerned neighbors looking out for one another.  I for one am greatful that my neighbors look out for my family's well-being, and I would hope that my neighbors feel the same way about me.
