I am reading your Deed Restrictions and notice that you have a restriction governing signage. It appears that signs of any type, except for one sign for the sale of the lot, are not allowed. If this is the case, the board may want to seriously rethink posting signs that announce meetings. As much as they might help, they are STILL against the SIGNS restriction. This may SEEM unimportant, but once you get into the enforcement of deed conditions, it would appear on challenge that you might give the impression of selective enforcement of specific restrictions if the board itself is in violation. It may seem petty, but it can invalidate your documents and then you would loose the ability to enforce any restriction if you don't fairly enforce them all, regardless of the deed restrictions stating otherwise.
If you want to continue posting informational signs, you might want to seriously consider making an AMENDMENT to that restriction to allow for it. You would need to follow the procedures in your documents for doing that, but I think your homeowners would find that an acceptable amendment and vote for it. While doing so, you may also want to consider amending the signage restriction to allow for landscape signs, security system signs, welcome wreath signs, etc.
