Our association has now put in place a system that will have overnight parked cars towed after a warning is placed. If your cars gets a warning violation placed on your car and is in violation within the next 30 days for the same violation you will be in risk of having you vehicle towed. Overnight parking has become common and a hazard on some of our streets. Our street are not wide enough to park safely on the streets. Please make sure that you let you guest know and provide them space in your driveway to park. It seems that there are only a handful of adresses that have a habit of overnight parking and present this problem. This is one of the biggest complaints recieved by the board and has required this extreme measure to bring these households into compliance.

street parking
It is about time something is done about all of the parking on the streets. It is hard to back out of my driveway and I quess my neighborbor is not considerate enough to know that this bothers me! I have made subtle comments before but that did not work. Maybe now I can get in and out of the driveway easier!

Hooray !!!
I too have had a problem with a neighbor who consistently chose to ignore this provision in our CCRs. Too bad courtesy can sometimes be achieved only with a heavy club.

Overnight Parking Warning
I agree that a few residents abuse the overnight parking but I would alert the board to be positive they have the right to tow a vehicle without posted signs as a warning. A legal opinion would prevent another law suit for towing a vehicle illegally. One would hope a stern warning from the board would suffice but many people believe that rules do not apply ''to them''.
