Tonight at the Association's meeting, it was reviled that CVS plans to build a pharmacy at the corner of Ellerbe Road and Flournoy Lucas. On the positive side, it may be a convenience. On the negative side is the increased congestion as cars enter and leave the store at one of the busy intersection in our area. They will in all likelihood sell liquor, but probably not hard liquor.
Here is your chance to express your opinion.

I would love a CVS at that corner. It would certainly be convenient for me as a pharmacy not to mention just to buy bread and milk without paying exorbitant prices or driving 5 miles. I don't believe the intersection is that busy (except at about 7:30) or that CVS will create that much more traffic. Thanks for allowing feedback! |

Neighbors Response: Need more info -- this should not be piece-meal -- what's the 5-yr; 10 yr plan?

Neighbors Response: went to the meeting tonight at Ellerbe Road Baptist Church and was disturbed about the building of CVS Pharmacy. It seemed no one else felt it was bad idea. To us we thought of the increased traffic of entering and exiting the pharmacy plus the increased potential of crime with a drug store. This is the first we heard of this proposal. |
