Cabana Colony

We must change the trend to crime in this area. There seems to be two or three crime houses on every street. Exactly what can we do to change the situation? The criminals have a network here now. Drug deals are now being done in broad daylight. One happened right in front of me, standing on the sidewalk. Two cars pulled close together, the buyer handed two twenties and four singles and received a baggie with white powder. They totally ignored me looking in thru their windshield.

In another case, two girls stopped at the drug pickup point (two shoes over the wire). I stepped up just as the seller came into view. He continued on past. The girls were saying "Woah, stop but he left. Then they saw me. One said that they were lost. They wanted directions to the Acreage. All well and good if they didn't live just five houses down the street.

If you are going to post this information please tell us what you did abotut it to prevent it from happening in the future?  Did you call the police and make a report?  Have you set up any hidden cameras?

Although I agree there can be crime, it can be anywhere, we all know that.  But, having lived in this neighborhood for over a decade, I've never had an issue other than seeing a few people that I wouldn't want to run into on a dark alley, that's about it.  And, maybe my "dark alley" criteria is different than the next person.

It bothers me when people throw out this type of information without trying to help fix the problem.

Our neighborhood is awesome.  I've had the same awesome neighbors for a very long time and I wouldn't trade them for the world.

What was posted here WAS passed to the police. The license plate number also. The house address of the two girls also given. Don't feel bothered as besides posting here, I am communicating with the police. If that is not trying to fix the problem, I don't know how to do more.
