IMPORTANT NEIGHBORHOOD NEWS ***************************
Fall meeting will be sunday September 24th 2017 10:30-11am at 1415 E. Shangrila Rd 85020
Any one who encounters storm damage can call city risk management office and file a claim. 602-262-5054.
Jim Williams is the pavement manager for city streets. I have contacted him and I am awaiting for a response to determine when our blockwatch streets are scheduled to be paved. As you know we do not have sidewalks in most of our area. From previous storms it has been evident that concave concrete water paths are needed in some high water areas to divert drainage into city outlets. If you are a homeowner and desire a concave path on or near your property please contact me so we can coordinate the effort to ensure we are identified by the city as having a need to aquire a work order. Yearly funding is limited to priority so be sure to take photo or video of your problem area. We would like to resolve water issues before street pavement occurs to ensure a functional transition.
.............It is okay to post missing animals on our cactus board. Remember coyotes are crafty critters and will jump fences..... keep your lil ones close...... As always if you see that your aged/disabled neighbors are having trouble keeping up with their yard please contact me so I may get a few people together to help them out. If you know of any elderly residents that need help with scorpion removal please contact me and if you know of any elderly/disabled residents who would like help attending church services contact me as well. There are a few churches in the area that can help with transportation. Report any suspicious activity in your neighborhood? Drugs, theft sex trafficking, or vandalism?
Any ques or concerns please email me Riffler1@cox.net please use BLOCKWATCH in the title.
