Be Alert - Do Not Approach Bee Swarms

It has been reported, most recently by a neighbor in the 3500 block of Altadena Ave. that a Bee Swarm surrounded her mail box, threatening all who came near. This also occurred just a few months ago at the same address, a very unnerving experience.

It has also been reported by neighbors north and west of 43rd Avenue and Cactus Road had a similar experience. It was necessary to call a Bee Keeper to remove those threats, since neither the Police nor Fire Departments are equipped to handle this type of emergency. Fire will respond if there has been an injury. Beyond that, I guess we are on our own, should this threat present itself to ourselves and the children.

Get your Qwest Dex Yellow Pages, Book A thru L, and turn to pages 454 thru 459 for a list of those who will remove Bees. Yes, it will cost. But at least you, your family and your pets will be safe. If they turn out to be the Africanized Bees you could be in big trouble (danger) were you to try to remove them yourself. Taking on these creatures could easily result in serious injury or even death (in a few extreme cases). ?‘Please Make the Wiser choice?’
