Staff members of the Neighborhood Services Department are available to educate and inform business owners, managers and employees about Section 39-1 O-D of the Neighborhood Preservation Ordinance. The ordinance sets requirements for the storage and display of aerosol spray paint containers, broad-tipped indelible markers and etching solutions to assure they are not accessible to minors; it also requires businesses selling these items to limit access to authorized employees.

The department has free signs and brochures retailers can display in their businesses; they?’re a great way for merchants to show support for efforts to curb graffiti.
