Hey everyone! We are in the process of building a newsletter that will start going to the homeowners quarterly or bimonthly. We hope this will definately improve communication between board members and homeowners. We would like to know what you would like to be included in this newsletter. We will have standard pages dedicated for the president's message, treasurer's report, common violations, community improvement update, etc. Please respond to this post with any suggestions or ideas for this newsletter. We encourage all homeowners to be active in this community that we all chose to live in. Please remember also, that our board meetings are every 1st Tuesday of each month at Realty Executive Office on the Fern Extension and each and every homeowner is invited to attend and participate in the session.

Perhaps

Perhaps a segment of each newsletter could address a particular provision of the CCRs with a simple explanation of its purpose and the possible effects of violations.

Another thought

I think most of the complaints about the special assessment are coming from individuals who don't know what it is all about, either because they didn't attend the annual meeting or they moved into the neighborhood afterward. Maybe a good idea would be a ''special edition'' newsletter that sets out the history of the problem as well as the fines that the city of Shreveport will be imposing on us if we don't get it solved. This proposed newsletter would provide information to those who do not read the website messages.
