Where Does Your Neighborhood End

Posted in: Empowerment Congress W Area Neighborhood Developement
Like other large communities in Los Angeles, we in the Greater Crenshaw and West Adams areas are identifying the boundaries of the neighborhoods we call our own. Los Angeles City is moving to create a city-wide network of neighborhood councils that the City will eventually recognize as the spokepersons for those neighborhoods.

In the West Area (Van Ness to La Cienega Blvd. Rodeo Road to 52nd Street and Stocker Street)we intially identify Baldwin Village, Baldwin Vista, Baldwin Hills, Leimert Park, Village Green and Angeles Mesa as neighborhoods in our area. Do you agree? How would you define the boundaries of each? Are there other neighborhoods not named???

NEIGHBORHOODS

Romerol,

I think that we need to promote the website more so we can get the neighborhoods involved. I have been giving the site address at all of my meetings. We also discussed this topic at the EDC meeting last night. They will also help to get the word out.
Thanks,
Bev
