BACKGROUND
In 1994, the City of Santa Aria adopted a reward program for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of graffiti taggers. That program is still in effect and rewards are still available for residents reporting taggers.

GRAFFITI REWARD
The City of Santa Aria will pay $500.00 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of suspects for tagging or graffiti related vandalism. The reward is paid on a case by case basis, so one case equals one payment of $500.00, regardless of the number of suspects arrested.

HOW THE PROGRAM WORKS
1. Residents witnessing graffiti vandalism incidents, or in possession of information identifying suspects, report their information to the Graffiti Task Force Investigative Unit at (714)245-8768 or 8769.
2. The investigators assigned to the unit will investigate the case and attempt to validate the information provided by residents. Information will be evaluated as to its usefulness in identifying suspects and its value to the prosecution of arrestees or the successful diversion of juvenile arrestees to department-run community service and restitution programs.
