Sidewalk Repair and Street Repaving Update

Dec 02, 2002

The California Country Club Homes Association is continuing to work with the City's Bureau of Street Services to improve our streets and sidewalks. Installation of the first group of ADA disabled curb ramps at several intersections throughout the eastern half of our community is now complete.

Also, after last year's successful tree trimming, root pruning, and sidewalk repair project on Dannyhill Drive, this year's sidewalk repair program has already begun and includes Cheviot Drive, Patricia Avenue, and Earlmar Drive. The curb ramp crews have also made sidewalk repairs where possible in connection with their ramp work.
The work on Patricia Avenue is complete, as is the removal of a tree on Cheviot Drive east of Queensbury Drive that was buckling the sidewalk. Repair crews should be returning shortly to finish Cheviot Drive and work on Earlmar Drive. We are also working on a plan to plant trees on the barren parkways of Cheviot Drive between Queensbury and Cavendish.

We are also pleased to advise that the repaving of the entirety of Dannyhill Drive as well as the short leg of Club Drive between Barbydell Drive and National Boulevard has begun. Minor repairs on Earlmar Drive at Queensbury, Cheviot Drive at Dannyhill, and at the bottom of McConnell Drive are also planned to be completed at this time. We have also just successfully worked with the Bureau of Street Services to include Club Drive between Danalda and Dannyhill in this resurfacing project.
